I Heart Faces Photo Challenge | Water

This week's I Heart Faces Photo Challenge theme is water.  I have chosen this picture of my son on our summer vacation to Wild Dunes in Isle of Palms, SC.  I especially like the detail of the water drops and the expression on his face showing how much fun he is having in the water!

Meet Nelson

We are very excited to announce the addition of the newest member of our family, Nelson.  Nelson is a sweet Yorkie that we got from the NC Yorkie Rescue Center in Greensboro, NC.  He is the perfect addition to our family.  Of course I had to take photos to share, so here you go... I have just entered my very first photography challenge in the I Heart Faces Photography Community and I am so excited to participate!  Just the idea of Angie & Amy (co-founders of I Heart Faces) even viewing my photo is so exciting to me!  If you have not visited their fabulous photography site you need to.  This site is packed with all sorts of helpful tutorials, inspirational photos and great articles - not to mention the fun contests that you can enter!  

The photos I entered were taken at Wild Dunes in Isle of Palms, SC.  The challenge was entitled Summer Fun and that was definently what we had....
